The Atholl Palace Verandah Restaurant is part of the magnificent 1878 Atholl Palace Hotel, which is seen prominently on the skyline as you drive into Pitlochry from the south.

The Verandah Restaurant has stunning views over the Tummel Valley, a brilliant spot to enjoy a meal, whether Sunday Carvery, afternoon tea, or lunch. Every season gives a view with its own dramatic twist to the landscape.

The popular Verandah Restaurant Sunday Carvery - The Carvery is excellent, with beef, pork, lamb plus a wide selection of vegetables and accompaniments, which you will find very hard to beat anywhere in the world. It is served every Sunday between 12.30 and 3.30pm.

Afternoon Tea - Traditional Afternoon Tea is served on the Verandah between 12.30pm and 5.00pm every day. Traditional Tea (or coffee) begins with freshly cut finger sandwiches, homemade scones, together with an assortment of sweet treats served on a tiered stand.

Lunch with a View - The Restaurant with stunning views of the Tummel Valley is open from 12.30pm to 5pm daily, for lunches and light meals and afternoon tea.

The Atholl Palace Verandah Restaurant has a policy of sourced suppliers who are locally based, then regionally and nationally, as far as is practical and cost-effective. The fish and seafood is from a certified sustainable source (MSC). Where possible our tea, coffee and sugar are Fairtrade, organic and ethical.
