The maximum weight limit for horse riding is 13 stone or 83 Kgs.

Minimum age is 4 years old.

Pony rides for all abilities start with a 30 minute session and longer of required.

The stables are located within the 120 acre estate, in a beautiful location. Near Loch Tay and the River Tay, which offer superb views of the highland countryside. About 40 minutes by car from Pitlochry, these are the nearest and best dedicated Horse Riding and Horse Trekking centre near Pitlohcry.

Pony Trekking Pitlochry

Pitlochry Riding Award for PerthshirePony Trekking is for 1 hour or 2 hours. It is suitable for all ages and abilities. Ride on forest tracks, within Tay Forest Park, or alongside Scotland’s longest river, the River Tay. All supervised by their excellent team of staff

30 minutes - £20; 1hr children’s ride - £30 (max age 12 years); 1hr adults ride - £35 (from age 13 years up); 2hr experienced ride - £60 (aged 12 years up and MUST be an experienced rider)

2019 Pony Lessons per person
½ hour private - £25; 45 minutes private - £35; 1 hour group - £25 (3-5 people)

The pony trekking and riding centre is situated in the heart of Scotland, close to the shores of Loch Tay in Highland Perthshire, just over the bridge from the picturesque village of Kenmore. 21 miles from Pitlochry (40 mins drive), 7 miles from Aberfeldy (15 mins drive time), 24 miles from Dunkeld (41 mins drive).
