Pitlochry Golf

One of golf's hidden gems, a golf course set in spectacular highland scenery, with its own new driving range and a club house to rival the very best.

Created in 1909 the 18 hole Pitlochry Golf is due to the 'enthusiasm of the Butter family' (from the book 'Pitlochry, Heritage of a Highland District'). The course was redesigned after the 1st World War to be the golf course we see today.

There is a very energetic team driving improvements on and off the course. In 2013 a new purpose built driving range was opened, which was one of a number of improvements seen out on the course.

The Driving Range is family friendly and has clubs available for hire. Open 7 days from 8am to nightfall.

Pitlochry Golf Course is open to everyone (you do not have to be a member of a golf club to play the course) - Par 69 for 18 hole course is one of the most scenic golf courses you will find anywhere in the world, with spectacular views of the local highland scenery, the highland hills and breathtaking views over the Tummel Valley.

There is a full time Golf Professional, who looks after the Pro Shop which has all the latest ranges in clothing & equipment with custom fitting/demonstration for new clubs. Buggies are available, golf lessons and golf clubs can be hired too.

The Red Deer Restaurant in teh clubhouse is open to all, golfers and non golfers, whether you are a member of gold club or not. It has an excellent reputation for its great food and service in fabulous surroundings with views across the fairway towards Ben Y Vrackie. The food is made with the freshest locally sourced seasonal ingredients cooked to perfection, from our bar menu to the full a la carte.
