The Auld Smiddy Inn started life as Pitlochry's Black Smith's Forge, the early 1900s. More importantly today it has been transformed into the Auld Smiddy Inn, a lovely restaurant. Log fires burning during the winter months and outside seating in the summer.

Popular Curry nights, every 3rd weekend Friday evening and Saturday for as long as the curries last. Besides this you have a choice of eight or more curries, all for £13 includes rice. Booking recommended.

'Specials Boards' brings you the best in season produce. Scottish Lobster, crab claws, sea bass, sea trout, Scottish Mussels reputedly the best in Pitlochry!!!

The Bar is fully stocked with a full range of whiskies beers and wines which includes Real Ale.

The team of three dedicated Chefs will cater for any dietary concerns, if booking, advanced notice will make sure they are all geared up for you.

With Scottish produce supplied fresh from local sources the chefs create a range of fabulous dishes for example: -

Auld Smiddy Inn has its own homemade chutneys and pickles and sauces, also a Scottish speciality, their own homemade Clootie Dumpling.

Functions Room - The Auld Smiddy has its own functions room for private hire. Ask the staff for details.

Auld Smiddy Inn is open all year round, doors open daily from 11.00am for teas, coffees, lunches and evening meals. Children are welcome.
